How can I learn Shamanism?

Shamans have notoriously been chosen by lineage, being the descendant of important shamans or picked by them. There is an immense variety of circumstances with one key element: the calling.
“What is a calling to shamanism? How do I define it?”
One could dare to say that when you know, you know. Shamanism can keep calling, but if you’re deaf, there will be no answer.
The calling in multiple cases seems to be present through a series of synchronicities and initiations, in the daily life and the spiritual realms, with the constant of being ever increasingly in front of your face.
If you’re chosen by spirit you they will make it obvious, and if it’s the right time even more so.

It all begins when you finally give in. You can choose a shamanic training course, such as introduction to shamanism.
However, there is definitely more.
You can read books, you can go in nature and sharpen your senses.
You can ask for shamanic healing from a local practitioner.
The time is right when your present wisdom allows you to see the pattern in the signs and which direction is truly calling you. When you don’t lie about the inner work but you’re feeling about ready to see yourself truthfully, that’s when shamanism’s doors are going to be slammed open in front of you
