psychopomp training
the relationship with death, dying, and beyond
Death touches us all. We inevitably lose loved ones and observe the passing and decay around us; eventually, death comes for each of us. What if instead of fearing this natural passage, we embraced it with renewed feelings?
In this workshop, we approach death and dying with compassion, awareness, and an open heart. Drawing from traditions around the world, we focus on the role of the Psychopomp, the guide who helps souls transition to the light.
You’ll learn to assist souls who are stuck after death, using spirit guides, angels, and sacred practices to support both individuals and groups, including those lost through trauma, disaster, or conflict.
You’ll also gain tools to assist the dying, easing fear and guiding their souls toward a peaceful journey into the afterlife. This work benefits the departed, their families, and the collective, restoring harmony and releasing dense energy.
Ancient cultures, shamans, monks, priests, and healers have practised these techniques for centuries. This course teaches how to safely integrate these powerful practices today.
Key learnings include:
What happens when we die, and how to safely engage with spirits
Partnering with the elements to support the dying process
Understanding lost souls and your role as a psychopomp
Working with incense, plants, sacred oils, and natural allies to harmonise energy and support soul transition
By the end of the training, you’ll have practical skills to guide souls, ease transitions, and bring healing to the living and the departed.
you will also learn:
Study death and dying through animist and alchemical perspectives
Connect with psychopomp spirit allies;
Practice personal psychopomp journeys;
Explore and navigate a “waiting room” for souls;
Guide lost or struggling souls to the light
Discover the role of hearing, smell, sight, taste and touch in funeral and transitional rites;
Set up a personal psychopomp altar;
Establish ethical and safety boundaries for your practice.
